Sidewall Ventilation EMT Conduit Couplers
Using an EMT conduit coupler is essential for any greenhouse. This is because the conduit running the sides of the greenhouse is not long enough to run the whole span in one piece. The couplers solve this problem by attaching separate poles. There are two kinds of EMT conduit couplers; internal and external. Both are great options for joining EMT conduit together for a greenhouse, and both have advantages when compared to one another.

This is nice because the screw sits very close to the pipe, and the chance of tearing the plastic is almost none. It is made from galvanized steel which will be more corrosion-resistant than the external steel option. The internal sleeve tends not to move as much as the external sleeve.

The 3/4" [1" OD] EMT Conduit Set Screw Coupling for Roll-Up Side Wall Ventilation (Steel) is a more budget-friendly option that is attached to the outside of the pipe via set screws. The external fitting option is a quick and easy way to attach the conduit. It's less than half the price of the internal option and only requires a screwdriver to install. It's also made of steel, which tends not to last as long as any galvanized option. Since there are set screws on the outside of the coupler, the plastic grow film could be damaged. The screws are rounded, which helps prevent this, though. It's not common, but it can happen.
